Nobody wants to have to pawn their belongings, but at least we can make it as smooth, easy, and enjoyable for you as possible during this period. We offer a Layaway service with just 10% down, we accept all major credit and debit cards, and we always accept cash.
Being a Federal Firearms License holder means we buy and sell guns. We make sure the people we sell to pass a thorough background check performed by The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and then The Federal Bureau of Investigation. So we make sure the guns are only in the hands of the good guys.
We like to bring our dogs into work with us! If you are visiting then make sure to ask to see the pups if you would like to! If you are not a fan of dogs then no worries, they are kept behind the counters and in most cases keep to themselves. If they do happen to pop up to say hello, don't be afraid! They simply just want to say hi and you can ignore them or say hello back.
What is a Pawn?
A pawn is another term for a collateral loan. Pawnbrokers lend money on items of value ranging from gold and diamond jewelry, musical instruments, televisions, electronics, tools, silver coins, firearms, and more. Some pawn shops may specialize in certain items. Loans are based on the value of the collateral.
At Mad Dog Pawn we specialize in Jewelry and Firearms. We also take a large variety of other things. Those are just our favorites!
So first you must find what you wish to get a loan on!
Once you have your item for loan, bring it to our store and we will determine what we can loan you on it.
When we have agreed on a price then we write up a Pawn contract and ask you to review, sign, and put a thumbprint on it.
We take possession of the item and pay you cash on the spot!
You can come to pay off your loan and pick up the item anytime after that within the loan terms. Most are for 30 day periods.

How do I sell a gun? That's easy, bring your unloaded firearm to our business with your ID and we will give you top dollar for it. It's that stupid-simple.
How do I buy a gun? Also easy, still need your ID, you will fill out a Federal 4473 form (which we provide to you) and pick out the firearm you want. As long as you pass the background check and are approved then you can buy it. The whole process takes less than 30 minutes under normal circumstances.
How do I Pawn a gun? It's sort of a mix between selling us your gun and you buying it back. The only thing is, it's still your property fully insured under our care. You will still need your ID and the firearm(s) you wish to get a loan on. We fill out a pawn form and take possession of the gun(s) and you get the cash. Any time after that you can come back to pick it up. Remember you will need to fill out a Federal 4473 form and we will submit a background check.
How do I have a gun transferred? Find a deal on a gun online and choose us as your preferred FFL Dealer! Come in with your ID, fill out a Federal 4473 form, we submit the background check and collect a $25 flat fee from you. That's it!
